Optometric AssistantLisa has been with Dr. Erdie for 24 years and recently has obtained her title as Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant (C.C.O.A.). Lisa is responsible for pre-testing patients, performing visual fields & special testing, as well as contact lens trainings and ordering.
Lisa will tell everyone her favourite part of her job is the patient interaction! After so many years of working with patients, she views them as friends and enjoys seeing patient's back year after year. Many of them know of her love for travelling, cycling and cooking!
Ashley
Dispensing AssistantAshley has a passion for all things eyewear! She provides customers with appropriate frame and lens recommendations based on their visual demands, and lifestyle. Ashley is always up-to-date with the latest trends in fashion in the optical industry and enjoys attending workshops and conferences such as the International Vision Expo.
Ashley is very passionate about providing top quality lens and eyewear products at a superior value to our patients. She enjoys helping patients improve their quality of life by providing a lens specific to their optical needs, and have a patient walk away feeling great about the way they look and feel in their new eyewear.
Jackie
Senior ReceptionistJackie has been with Dr. Erdie for over 10 years, and was a patient at the office before she started working with our team. Jackie is responsible for suerpvising all reception activities as well as answering phones, booking appointments, and preparing charts. She is always there to greet you with a warm smile and hello as you enter the office.
Jackie enjoys being a part of a dog hiking group, as well as snow shoeing in the winter!
Maureen
ReceptionistMaureen joined our office a couple years ago, with an extensive background in optical retail ophthalmic assisting. As a receptionist Maureen works with Jackie, answering phones, booking appointments, filing and triaging ocular emergencies.
Maureen enjoys interacting with patients, and ensuring their complete satisfaction with the whole office experience. She loves to spend time with her grandchildren, and traveling.
